Handy Person Service

HANDY PERSON SERVICE

In partnership with North Somerset Council since October 2018 AMS Electrical is the councils chosen provider for its Handy Person Service.

The service is designed to enable access to small essential works for disabled persons of any age or those over the age of 60 living within North Somerset. The service can be used for a cumulative total of 6 hours a year, with a maximum of 3 hours in any one visit. The cost of the hourly labour is subsidised by the council, meaning the remaining cost of the labour and all parts are payable by the householder.

Call or email to register and make a booking … It’s that simple!

Larger jobs, although not subsidised by the council, can still be carried out on a private basis, however we recommend additional quotations are obtained from contractors listed on the Trust Mark register.
