Handy Person Service

In partnership with North Somerset Council from 1st October 2018 AMS Electrical will be the councils chosen provider for it’s Handy Person Service. This diversifies our business from solely Electrical to include a Handy Person Division.

The service is designed to enable access to small essential works for disabled persons of any age or those over the age of 60 living within North Somerset. The service can be used for a cumulative total of 6 hours a year, with a maximum of 3 hours in any one visit. The cost of the hourly labour is subsidised by the council, meaning the remaining cost of the labour and all parts are payable by the householder.

It’s that simple!

Larger jobs although not subsidised by the council, can still be carried out on a private basis, however we recommend additional quotations are obtained from contractors listed on the Trust Mark and/or Buy With Confidence registers.
